Child sponsorship works by meeting a child’s spiritual and practical needs, such as medical care and education, consistently as they grow. With their needs met, they can grow into self-sufficient, thriving adults empowered to leave poverty behind.

Child sponsorship at Compassion is unique from other programs in that it’s Christ-centered, church-driven and child-focused.

You can write to the child you sponsor either through physical mail or online through our website or app (Android/Apple).

After you send a message, our field staff will translate and deliver it to the child you sponsor. We recommend writing two to six times a year, but you’re free to write as often as you like.
